Reasonably clean place, staff was service-oriented and professional.

The location of this place near the train station is great, and the breakfast selection with fresh croissants and fruits is impressive and outshines others we've experienced!

There was an excellent welcome from the staff. The restaurant was actually quite good for an Italian hotel restaurant. It is well located, 500 yds from the station, and close to the marina.

A bit of noise from the railway line just behind the hotel, not mentioned in the booking in which my room was described as 'overlooking the garden', not mentioning the railway just the other side of the fence. Luckily there were not many trains through the night and fewer trains than I though there should be in the daytime (a bit sparse for the purposes of getting into Genoa.

This hotel was great value. Just a 15-minute stroll to the center. Good restaurant available in the property. Admired sea view from the window...

During my stay at Hotel Santa Maria, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and exceptional service provided by the staff. The location of the hotel was very convenient, being just 500 yards from the train station and close to the marina. The breakfast offered a good selection of local fare, and the rooms were comfortable and had excellent air conditioning.

While there were a few drawbacks, such as the pillows being too hard and the shower being small, these minor inconveniences did not greatly impact my overall stay. The hotel could also benefit from providing more up-to-date information on boat trips, as I was initially misinformed about their schedule.

Great location, just walking distance from the train station and right in front of the beach. The breakfast buffet had a good price/value relationship, with a versatile selection of food. There's a little garden area and a roof terrace for sunbathing and enjoying the lovely views.

The hotel was slightly outside the lively boulevard district, so it didn't quite offer that full holiday feeling. The beach in front of the hotel was lined with bathing establishments, which can be noisy during the summer months, but this is also an advantage if you want to use them.

This hotel is in a great location, close to the train station, the beach, and just outside the busier part of town. Our room was comfortable and had a clean bathroom. the breakfast was good and the service was outstanding. We enjoyed relaxing in the hotel common areas and using the available Wi-Fi. the secure parking was also convenient.

The hotel could improve the communication with guests about check-in times and procedures.

One of the standout features of this hotel is its superb location right across from the beach. Being able to step out of the hotel and onto the sparkling sand is truly a luxury. The breathtaking sea view from the room's balcony was an absolute highlight of my stay. I couldn't help but spend hours soaking in the mesmerizing vistas.
